Welcome to Fresh Air Dogs

If you're looking for an awesome place for your pup to learn, play and stay, you just found it! Check us out, look around, see what others have to say, and give us a ring ... we look forward to talking with you! We're glad you found us and believe we're just what you're looking for!

After eight years, the time has come for us to move on. We closed the dog house doors on Monday, October 23, 2017 (just in time for Russell to thoroughly enjoy hunting season).

This is a bittersweet time for us as we close this chapter of our lives that included Fresh Air Dogs from near and far and embrace our growing family.

We appreciate your trust in us over the years and thank you for recommending us to your family and friends.

Fresh Air Dogs to Hand Over the Leash – FMI, click HERE

With each change of seasons there is a letting go and something new to come. For us, after 7+ years at Fresh Air Dogs (with only 19 days here with no dogs!), it is time for us to let go and embrace the joys and blessings of full-time grandparenthood. Our daughter’s family has blessed us with a grandson who is now 18 months old; our son’s family is about to bless us with a granddaughter any day now.

Every step of the way, from conception of the idea for Fresh Air Dogs, to preparing to open, to opening the door to that very first dog, to our branding, logo, signage, building our website and creating our Facebook page, every decision along the way has been made thoughtfully and prayerfully. We will give it our all until there is someone we can pass the leash over to, God willing. We want nothing more than someone who will love it and the dogs as much as we have. We ask that you stand in agreement with us. If you are a praying person, please pray. If you are a good mojo person, please send some good mojo our way. If you are a knock on wood person, please knock. You’ve all heard the little phrase, Let Go & Let God; well, we do that every day. We’re trusting Him to work it all out in His way and in His time.

WEEKENDS & HOLIDAYS by appointment

Morning Drop-offs and Pick-ups 7am-9am

While we love our time spent with the dogs 24/7/365, it is important that we, our staff, and all the dogs, are able to have “quiet time” from 9am to 4pm and after 6pm. Therefore, we prefer all drop-offs and pick-ups occur as stated above, whenever possible. Outside those hours, please call Fresh Air Dogs at 207.564.2604 to schedule a time before stopping by. [FYI … “quiet time” at Fresh Air Dogs is when the dogs are not barking to let us know that a car just pulled in the driveway.]

Thank you … we really appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
