Your house should be puppy-proofed by now, so now it’s on to housebreaking that new little bundle of joy. Is it hard for you to take your pup out every time it wakes up? Do you work all day? Maybe we can help get your pup get off on the right paw … your pup can come and live with us for housebreaking, manners, socialization and basic obedience training before you even take it home!

Good News Dog Obedience – a 5-week Basic Obedience Course
Classes are held several times a year in various locations, call 564-2604 to pre-register. Students should let us know, in advance, if they are interested in putting an Obedience Title on their dog or if they are interested in their dog being certified with Therapy Dog International.
Lesson 1: Heeling on a Loose Leash, Automatic Sit
Lesson 2: Sit Stay, Down
Lesson 3: Down Stay, Stand for Examination
Lesson 4: Recall and Finish
Lesson 5: Polish all Exercises, Transitioning to Off Leash
Certificates are awarded at the last class.
Students may return at any time for a FREE refresher course.
Advanced training is available upon request.

Following an evaluation session with the dog and owner, the dog will stay with us for intensive training (five day minimum). Dogs can stay for longer periods of time until all goals are accomplished.
